πŸ“Œ Section 1 β€” Quick Start (First 30 Minutes)

Before entering any data, follow these five steps in order. The databases are relational β€” entering data out of sequence creates empty references and broken views.

βœ… Step 1 β€” Duplicate the Template

  1. Open the template link from Gumroad or Etsy
  2. Click Β·Β·Β· (top-right corner of Notion) β†’ Duplicate
  3. Choose your personal or team workspace
  4. Wait 30–60 seconds for duplication to complete
  5. Rename the page to match your context β€” e.g. "Acme Corp β€” Project Hub"

βœ… Step 2 β€” Add Your First Project

The Projects database is the master anchor. All other databases filter by project. Always start here.

  1. From the Home page, scroll to the Projects section
  2. Click + New inside the Projects database
  3. Fill in: Project Name, Start Date, End Date, Status, and Project Owner
  4. Save and close

⚠️ Important: Status uses fixed options β€” Not Started Β· In Progress Β· On Hold Β· Completed. Do not delete existing options. Other database views filter by these exact values.

βœ… Step 3 β€” Build Your Project Team

  1. Open Project Team from the Home page or the sidebar
  2. Click + New and add each team member: Name, Role, Email, and link to your project
