⚡ How to Trigger Notion AI (Step-by-Step)
- Open any page — a meeting entry, status report, risk, or document
- Click into the body of the page (below the database properties)
- Press the Space bar — the Notion AI menu will appear
- Choose from: Summarise, Find action items, Improve writing, or Ask AI for a custom prompt
- Review and edit the AI output before saving — always check for accuracy
Notion AI requires a Notion AI add-on or Plus / Business plan with AI enabled. If the menu does not appear when you press Space, check your workspace billing settings under Settings → Plans.
🗓️ Meetings — Best AI Uses
After every meeting:
- Press Space → Summarise → review the auto-generated summary of your meeting notes
- Press Space → Ask AI → type: "List all action items from these notes with suggested owners"
- Copy extracted action items into the Action Item Log, assign owners and due dates
Before a meeting:
- Press Space → Ask AI → type: "Draft an agenda for a project status meeting covering scope, budget, and risks"
